About Marinda:

Marinda briefly dabbled in film before obtaining her degree in Performing Arts at the University of Pretoria. She then promptly ran away to the UK, to further her training in Puppetry and performance in various genres.

She spent 8 years working as an actress, voice artist and puppeteer in the UK, gaining experience in acting for film and television, creating and performing a one-woman show, amongst other puppetry projects.

Marinda is passionate about the moving image, about storytelling, about the human condition revealed in the tiny gestures we make when we think no one’s watching. Marinda has 15 years experience as a professional puppeteer and teaches 2D Animation and Screen Acting at The Open Window School of Visual Communication in South Africa.
