Synopsis

A middle-aged siberian man living in a windy steppe, his life suddenly change due to a strange guest.
Absurdity and realism are combined together into a small wooden cabin where there's no room for hope.

Director's BIO

Francesco Rosso born and raised in the countryside near Padua (north-eastern Italy) has developed since childhood interest in the figure. After Electrical Engineering and Automation Diploma(2006) he devoted to art, graduating cum laude in Visual and Performing Arts at the Architecture Institute of Venice IUAV (2010). He began with painting on canvas and wooden panels using oils while gaining an artistic use of analog photography. In seeking to make his own visual language he experimented with different styles ending up with a specific imaginary which includes a conscious use of geometries together with human and environmental dynamics.
In the last years he's focusing in photography and animation jumping between figurative and abstract.
He have recently graduated from Estonian Academy of Arts with an MA in Animation, his thesis investigates under- the-camera technique focusing on the making of his own films. He is currently based in Tallinn, Estonia.
